Driveight® and CarChip™ GPS Module
The optional GPS module records the vehicle’s location, GPS speed, and direction of travel at intervals between 1 seconds and 10 minutes when connected to either a DriveRight 600E or CarChip Fleet Pro via the GPS/Wireless Interface Module for DriveRight (#8127) or the GPS/Wireless Interface Module for CarChip (#8251).

If connected to a DriveRight device, the DriveRight 600E LCD displays the current latitude and longitude, the direction of travel, and the vehicle’s GPS speed. The GPS data can be viewed and organized in the DriveRight Fleet Management Software (FMS, #8186) and exported to mapping software (such as Microsoft MapPoint®) to show the exact route of each trip. Each GPS record includes speed, direction, and the status of the DriveRight 600E’s two digital inputs.
