Remarks Procedure to Fix
Installation Ok, except database will not install unless User Accounts Control is turned off Select Control Panel\User Accounts\Change User Accounts Control Settings, select Never Notify, select OK and then reboot PC
SmartCard Driver Windows 7 does not select the Proprietary driver as the best driver for the device therefore the SmartCard reader is not seen by FMS Go to device manager; Click on ACR38 under SmartCard Readers; Click on Driver Tab, then Update Driver. Select Browse for Best driver on your PC. Then select "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer". Select Proprietary mode ACR 38 SmartCard Driver. Select Next then select Install this driver anyway.

SmartCard Driver Windows 7 does not select the Proprietary driver as the best driver for the device therefore the SmartCard Reader is not seen by FMS There is No Fix for this. Can not get Windows 7 64 bit to see the Proprietary driver. It selects the latest ACR38 SmartCard Reader driver. Sometimes it locks up when trying to load the Proprietary driver. No Fix
